Hi there,
just run Xbench 1.2 on my newer Quad and compared the value of 117.21 to the Xbench results of 108 on the latest Dual 2Ghz! Can this numbers be true? Cheers, Bob |

The Xbench basically shows that the Quad is a little bit faster than the Daul 2Ghz, where only the CPU speed of 2.5 vs. 2.0 would account for that and the additional dual core CPU doesn't show at all. This Xbench seems really strange!

Xbench has been criticized for not working properly on some machines.
Don't put much faith in those numbers. I wouldn't be surprised if there are some threading or related problems involved. The quality of this board depends on the quality of the posts.
