As everyone knows, events/alarms in iCal are supposed to sync to iPhone. I've had a couple of Calendar alarms activate on my iPhone, so it seems to be working at least some of the time.
This morning, however, one of those alarm/reminder windows popped up on my PB, but the same alarm/reminder has yet to appear on my iPhone. This particular alarm/reminder was a 90-day warning about an event later this year. Perhaps alarms/reminders in the Calendar app on iPhone only work for shorter-term alarms (?). Anyone else seeing anything like this? |

So far, all of my alarms have worked nicely.

Is the event listed on your iPhone?

No, it wasn't docked. It was just sitting on my desk all night.
The only thing I can think is that the alarm/reminder appeared in the early a.m. but then was dismissed before I actually saw it. I had assumed, perhaps incorrectly, that Calendar alarms would stay on-screen until manually dismissed. (The other times I've had a Calendar alarm go off, I've had the iPhone in my hand and quickly acknowledged/dismissed the reminder. But if a Calendar reminder appears and no one is there to see it, ... ??) |
