Not a real important question but was the iTunes icon ever blue before iTunes 7 was released? I never thought that it was but I saw a video on youtube of the iPod intro, and I noticed the icon was blue. I was just curious because I've been using iTunes since before it was called iTunes, and can't recall it ever being blue...

As you can see, iTunes 2.0's icon had blue notes. |

But it's a dark blue compared to a light blue.
EDIT: Apple artist must be really anal. See how the rainbow reflection changes. The latest looks the best but how subtle is it! |

There's even more to it than that. The icons of iTunes 1.0 and 2.0 actually have completely reflecting notes (look closely at the lower part of the optical disc), whereas in the newer icons, only the 'head' has a reflection. iTunes 2.0 also has a unique gradient of the disc. 1.0, 3.0 and 4.0 through 6.0 all share a different one, and 7.0 has yet another one.
