I know a lot of people want to download it and are still having trouble with the stream. Here is a link to the torrent. I really am not supposed to share, so please keep this between us.

You'll see the link a the bottom of the page.

Thanks for that ast3r3x, but we've already got some working linkys directly from Apple's site to download. It's reasonably fast now too (I got over 300k when I downloaded).

How did you get it to download as a stand alone movie?

That's hilarious. I love bjork, so I'm glad my busted links go to her site.

Has anyone managed to watch the Keynote all the way through yet? I've tried watching on 2 different Macs and they both break up at about 50 mins into the broadcast....

Yes. I downloaded the link almost immediately after it was posted.

I watched it all the way through.

Wierd! If you click on the current link (not what you downloaded) and skip to 50 mins into it (approx half way through) does it break up for you too?

Just an FYI and I didn't want to start a new thread:

The Keynote was indeed broadcast live via satellite. Thanks to ZO from .com I had the last two years coordinates to play with and we just happen to find bars on the following:

Galaxy 3R/Transponder: 23 C Band
Orbital Slot: 95 degrees west
Downlink Frequency: 3740 MHz
Polarity: Vertical down
Bandwidth: 36 MHz
Audio subcarriers: 6.2 and 6.8

Emphasized the information that our downlink operator actually cared about. Watched most of the keynote live on company time ~10 minutes before 0900 PST we found bars and music, then coverage of the floor including a shot of the Sony president and the huge HD camera covering the show (one of several?). Twas a great event. Once of these days I will attend and not just watch these keynotes on a 13" monitor.

Sorry, no Ku Band coordinates as we don't use the smaller dishes. Just thought I'd share. Coords were identical to ZO's posting on .com for MacWorld 2003 except the transponder channel.

P.s. These were downlinked in North America (if that matters).

any word on either route?
the torrent seems to have 8 peers... but no seeds and as we all know, the torifile links have been bjorked...

edit: the torrent seems to have picked up... 33 peers and like 10k/sec... should be done within the day... aren't torrents supposed to be FAST?

Steve was just itching for the Sony guy to finish yapping... look how many times he tried to shake his hand and get him off the stage..

I've changed the torrent...well it's the same torrent, but I re-downloaded it, because I was having trouble the with the one I originally posted.

There are a lot a of seeders, so it should be downloading very fast. Perhaps your connection sucks

I'm uploading at 30k/s.
