What kind of reductions are there going to be tomorrow in the uk? On the market for a macbook. Any one care to guess? Cheers.

I'm actually wondering myself Hopefully they'll offer us something juicy and maybe (HIGHLY doubtful) the savings can be applied to education discounts as well. If that happened my bank balance would take a huge plummet

I wonder what time the apple store will be updated? Midnight? I want to check the deals before I go to bed hehe.

The discounts don't apply in the edu store, so for once it's cheaper to buy your MB the normal way (with the discount)... crazy!

Was just checking prices at the Education store - still cheaper to buy computers through there (at least through my network it is). Oh well.

Babelfish - if you're on a proper edu lan, it could be - I was referring to the 'open' edu store.

Oooh I see my mistake. Just wondering, if I went to an Apple store (actually, in the UK the only Apple Store) and brought some proof that I'm a university student, would I get the same education discount that I would if I ordered off the Apple Higher Education store?

I hate waiting for things to arrive in the post

MacBook C2D 'blackbook' with 2Gb ram should arrive tomorrow. Actually would have arrived today but we postponed it as we knew we'd be out. Excited! Parallels already ordered & downloaded, looking forward to this!!!

Yep my white macbook arrived today. Really nice- unexpectedly light as well, and the screen is so bright.
