Folks,

I have set up my own Minecraft (1.11) server on Raspberry Pi. I'm trying to get the remote relative kids playing. "I" can logon but they are having issues. Can someone try to get onto the following server:

johnnyland.ddsnking.com

I got it working from a local coffee shop but my sister-in-law can't get in. It might be firewall issues on her end.. Confirmation that other folks can get in would help a lot. I have no whitelist installed at this point..

Thx in advance..

JTA

This might just be that you have typoed the hostname:
Code:
Volstagg:Tectonicus Tony$ host johnnyland.ddsnking.com Host johnnyland.ddsnking.com not found: 3(NXDOMAIN) Volstagg:Tectonicus Tony$ host johnnyland.ddnsking.com johnnyland.ddnsking.com has address 23.240.156.177 Volstagg:Tectonicus Tony$ telnet johnnyland.ddnsking.com 25565 Trying 23.240.156.177... Connected to johnnyland.ddnsking.com. Escape character is '^]'.
I was able to log in just fine with the fixed hostname. I was spawned in a field with horses and sunflowers near me.

Looks like everything is good to go right now.
