That's a cool one, 709! Do you just chain it to your belt, where it kinda hangs like a biker wallet thing? That's a cool look. I can't imagine you wearing a wool vest with the watch in the pocket.

I would TOTALLY consider something like the above, since it's not actually ON me (no rings, watches, bracelets, jewelry, necklace, etc. on me if I can help it).

Exactly. The watch fits nicely in the little 'change pocket' on most pants.

Having something wrapped around my wrist bugs the crap out of me.

this was my dad's who kept it up his ass when he was a P.O.W. in Nam.

actually it's a knock-off (or as the guy who sold it to me referred to it "A TRIBUTE") that i got in china for 40 bucks, it's selfwinding and surprizingly rugged and reliable.

I used to wear one of these.

Once I got my new aluminum powerbook I was paranoid about it scratching up the surface while I typed. I used to take the watch on and off when I used my computer, but that got annoying.

Now I use this to tell time:

I've always got it with me anyway. I usually put my watch on if I'm dressing up, otherwise meh.

I don't like watches that need batteries. My current main watch is a Limes Opera automatic:

For sport, I have a Citizien Eco-drive titanium Chronograph.

LOL. A friend surprised me today with a gift.

I've never worn a wristwatch in my life.

Now I do:

It's comfortable as hell. Go figure.

So it goes.

Don't wear a watch, but I do have a cell phone and an iPod, for when someone asks me what time it is.

Visited the original Georg Jensen store in Copenhagen this week, and saw this:

Mine is black/white instead of gold/white,

and also a fraction of the price.
