I just found this auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/Mac-Mini-1-25Gig... cmdZViewItem on ebay and the seller's ignorance is hilarious. Of course, this got me thinking of other great moments in eBay history, such as...
1) Losers selling their virginity 2) Losers buying snow from Texas last Christmas 3) Virgin Mary on Sandwiches 4) The guy making fun of the Texas snow people that sold yellow snow from Minnesota Anybody else have a favorite eBay auction? |

People like that...
My favorite one of all time was the parents that were selling their kid's PS2 as a punishment. I got a kick out of that one. Come waste your time with me |

So does anyone else have the same mental image of a chain-smoking Comics Guy from the Simpsons who hasn't the brain cells or patience to learn a new system, so he's going to take his ball and go home?
Oh, and $400 for a used mini that's been subjected to *THAT* much smoke?? Overpriced. |

The selling of virginity and ad space on the body were very weird.

Ah, yes, the auctions for skin-ads! I forgot about that one. Absolutely beautiful.

I bought a clarinet off eBay once, and some Think Different posters (Buzz Aldrin and Lucille Ball).

Some time ago, someone sold a fried cutlet that (he said) looks like the face of the new pope .
It was all over the press here. Suddenly, there was a whole 'industry' of me-too's. Someone sold the pan that was used to fry the cutlet, the oil etc. Others offered french fries and ketchup which could be used together with that coutlet, etc. Someone even had an auction with another cutlet that looks like the pope. As a picture, he used the pic from the first auction and wrote "similar appearance" ... Some time before this auction, someone sold an old VW Golf which was once owned by Ratzinger (he was listed in the owner's papers) for a ridiculous price. |

I just remembered another one, although it was just funny--the t-shirts resulting from the Henrico Laptop fiasco
