Does anyone know how to enter non-keyboard characters in Unix terminal. I can't fix my problem unless I can log. My password contains the infinity symbol (∞). How can I convince Unix to accept my password?

Change your password to use normal characters? Or is this for a remote system on which you do not have GUI access at all?

Can you reset your password - either in single user mode (startup with Cmd-S pressed) or following the instructions in the FAQ at the top of the thread?
