I sold my Core Duo MBP for the C2D iMac last year, and missed it ever since. So I ordered the new C2D MBP yesterday. The first batch of MacBook Pro has wining noise, has anyone heard of such problem on the new Core 2 Duo MBP?
Any experience with the C2D MacBook Pro? |

I've had absolutely no problems with my MBP C2D.

I've had my C2D Macbook Pro for a month now, no problems at all. Its a great machine, hands down. Power, speed and reliability are all there. I've had no backlight issues, no wining issues or anything of the sort. I read a lot of horror stories about C2D MBPs before I bought it, but I've had no problems so I'd say go for it.

I have a 15" 2.16 with 2 gigs of ram. I have had it for about 3 weeks, and am very happy with it. It is a very silent machine.
