Hopefully they've disabled the debug code and really made Safari snappier.

Actually, Safari would get a fair bit snappier if Apple would fix that stupid animated GIF bug.

I have a fresh installation on my new PowerBook, so what the hell, no important data to lose.

I'll test the fruit for the tribe.

Actually, I'm doing a whole slew of updates on my tower that I've been putting off and decided to jump on the 10.3.6 one too.

If course, I have so much to download and install, it'll probably be another 15 minutes before it's done.

How very bizarre! When it finished installing and rebooted, I was presented with the registration screen.

It is a small update size wise. A whopping 14 MB reporting here. Still installing here.

It is obvious that software update likes my computer configuration better than yours.

After I installed the update, my PB locked up after the login page. Its the first time this has ever happened to me after a system update. Im going to do a permission repair and see whats going on. Everything else seems to be working tho.

I'm updating the prebinding, but application launch has become horribly long. I think it was 12 bounces for iChat!

My computer froze while installing it, then the machine would not boot.

First time an update has ever gone wrong for me.

Everything is totally fine here, too, on a 15" 1.25GHz PowerBook. I can't tell any difference, which is sometimes all you want.

A *cough* "friend' of mines computer had a load of *cough* "pre-release" Apple *cough* stuff on it and he told me that it stopped those apps working.. Poor guy!

It also did nothing for my G5 which still boots up 3 times out of 5 at max processor speeds because the SystemUIserver is trying to solve all the worlds folding@home / SETI@home and cancer algorithms, or something all at the same time! I swear to God one of these days the top of one of my processors is going to ping off!!
