Hey, I have an iMac G5 20", 1 gig RAM, running Tiger.
I've been trying to get image files (jpg, gif, png, etc.) to display their preview in the Finder instead of the default JPEG/GIF/PNG/etc. image file. In View Options, the "show icon preview" option is checked on for all windows, but still no luck (I had gotten it to work a while back, but inexplicably it stopped again). Many thanks; I'm probably just overlooking something simple. |

I have the same problem here.
icon preview in finder seems to be buggy. usually it shows them alright, but since a couple of days again it won't show previews anymore. only the pictures that I recently save from photoshop show up, but the rest (from either my camera, the web or even out of iPhoto) only show up as the JPG icon. does anybody know what could be the cause of this? it's rather annoying as I have to browse through them a lot to decide which one to edit in PS... thanks! *edit, I only noticed now this is a 2 year old thread. oh: and I have a blackBook (kind of brand new) with all updates running |
