Yum

I would put all my guitars and other instruments in my picture, but I would have to take like 4 pictures to get them all in. Haha.
That, and I don't have a "setup" currently...cause my new desk isn't here yet. So I'm baking my nutsack (hope that wasn't too graphic for anyone ) with this PB on my lap.

Come waste your time with me

This is where I work. Three Macs (my 12"PB, 1Ghz MDD for Pro Tools, old 9600 for Sonic Solutions) and a PC for the email/database stuff.
I really need to clean up under the console, but I work in the dark all day, so I never noticed it until I took the pic.

Wow, Messiahtosh, you have quite the list of iChat buddies. Sadly, none of my friends use AIM and I'm stuck using Messenger.

NosferaDrew - nice work environment! Did you build that desk with the incline for that specific mixer/editing console (or whatever it is exactly) or can you buy desks such as these with a modifiable space to house any sized mixer/editing console?

I also like the built in 19" rack spaces at the back, but am I correct when I see that they are only 3 spaces high?

Very curious.

Same here...

I'd much rather use ICQ then MSN.

Heh, well actually that's a young boy ThunderPoit.
I was working on the Slavic 5.1 version of Peter Pan that day.

That was custom built for the Yamaha 02R digital console and that specific stage.
The stage is going to be upgraded significantly in the future. The 02R is out and we're dropping in a Digidesign Pro Control control surface to compliment the Pro Tools|HD system that I run.
The rack spaces are actually 4U high. Currently there is only an unused Dolby SEU4 Encoder (I have a Dolby 563 Surround Encoder on the credenza behind the mix position) and the head unit for the Lynx KCU in that area.
I don't really need much outboard gear since I do almost everything within Pro Tools.
Also getting rid of the monitor up front to be replaced by a overhead projector, the two LCDs will be replaced by a 20" Cinema Display since I have no use for the Sonic Solutions system (again, Pro Tools does it all).

The clunky PC has to stay unfortunately.

Ha! As if...

Although, have you seen her lately? Wow, quite a beautiful, sexy woman. Red hair, pretty smile, a few lines around her mouth, etc. Meow!

I think she's doing lots of stage stuff.

This is my setup at home. I have my Quicksilver G4 upgraded to 1.33 GHz with a bunch of other upgrades as well (1 GB RAM, two 80 GB hard drives, GeForce 3, DVD burner). There's also the 12" PowerBook G3... 233 MHz G3, running OS 9. I use it at work on the wireless network, for making presentations in my classes, and for running SETI@home when it's not doing anything else.

Oh yeah... Call Of Duty rocks!

Those pics are tremendous, the setup is even more amazing than the pic quality though. Wow.

Nice camera. I am thinking of gettting the 8080. www.dpreview.com gave it very good marks. Same as yours, essentially, only 8 Megapixels.

Xactly some nice gear - I think we might be from the same vintage. I loved seeing that old Alesis MIDIVERB II... I've still got a Proteus - in storage though, these days.

Nice VDrums and mic, though!

Don't tell me you're just using GB to do all your audio work. No DP?

Btw, what keyboard/synth is that to the left of the picture?

Thanks! Yeah that midiverb doesn't get much use these days. I use GarageBand a lot, but not exclusively. I also have Logic 6 and Reason. The keyboard is my trusty Korg M1, which will probably be replaced in the not so distant future, because I don't perform with it any more. These days all I really need is a basic controller.

Shameless plug - here's stuff that I've done in GarageBand. My GB songs
