It wasn't live last year. Last year's web broadcast started as soon as the keynote finished in real life.

I'm not really sure why, but now I'm not going tol the conference, I was told I was... But I am in San Francisco with somebody that is going and two others that are not. I was just down at Moscone standing on the steps, looking in, being extremely jealous. Anybody here for WWDC wanna tfry to get lunch?

but then Think Secret came along and did a nice buzz kill on my fantasy.

That was the last straw, I gave away my tickets to San Fran for a Berry Manilow 8-track and a jug of Sangria.
