I recently became the owner of a Sony Palm PEG UX-50. I had intended to use it at my University for simple data entry and WiFi internet connectivity. Unfortunately this model does not support WPA or LEAP WiFi secure authentication so I'm SOL both at home and at school. Serves me right for not doing my homework. I understand that the PalmOne Tungsten C supports LEAP through the AEGIS Client app and the iPaq 4155, as well as other iPaq's, support LEAP authentication.

My hope is that there is a Clie LEAP solution available soon, has anyone heard anything on this? I enjoy the UX-50's multimedia features and would be bummed to loose them but I can't really see keeping the unit if I can't use it on secure networks, I havn't even been able to get the WEP working on it, I keep getting some silly error message about the password.

Anyone have experience with the Tungsten C or the WiFi iPaq's?

thanks....

The future is tomorrow!
