ANyone going to this thing? B/c it seems like for 2 gs i can find alot better things to spend my money on. Do you get anything if you go to these places or just the comfort of you were there live when a new PB ,lets say, was released?

Unless you're an OS X developer, WWDC will be an almost total waste of your time.
If you are an OS X developer though, WWDC kicks major butt. I have WWDC '03 and '04 DVD sets and have found them very useful. I was at '04 but unfortunately I did not get to attend the tech sessions in person. -M |

The $2k is a nice tax write-off too, if you're a developer. For many, it's something they pay for out of pocket. Hell I'd go if I had the chance. Just to see what's coming.
