Hello, I am using Mac OSX. Things were working fine until this morning when I upgraded to 10.4.2. Now when I turn on iSight and iChat is started, iChat reports that the camera is being used by another application. What has happened? I've tried to restart the computer and unplug the iSight, but nothing improves. I'm using an iMac G4 800MHz

Hi there,
I just updated to 10.4.3 today and the first time I used it my iSight got totally stuck ON. I spent hours to find a way to turn it off. I get the same identical error message and I have the exactly same iMac (G4/800). I even tested the iSight on the Firewire port of my PC and it still turns on with a green light and it should do that. Did you find a solution? I have come to the conclusion this is a problem with the camera itself, I was trying to find a way to reset the camera somehow, but to no avail. I plug it in and I get the green light. Email me please if you found a way to fix this. What is odd is that you have the same computer and the same problem. marcusdaniel@gmail.com Marcus |

Well I have 10.4.3 and the 1.0.3 sight software installer says it wont install on Tiger 10.4 or higher. My isight has 1.0.2 in it it seems.
