Get the Parallels trial from their website and test it on there. Warcraft 1 should run fine and dandy in emulation.

I got Dosbox and then I found a demo for the game played it for a little while and got bored, but my curiosity has been sated.

For what it's worth, you might find Warcraft II more enjoyable. Its has higher quality graphics and sound as well as controls that are a little closer to the newer *craft games.

Oh don't get me wrong, I played the shit out of both WC1 and WC2 back in the day. It has just been over 10 years since I last played WC1 and I was curious about how it compared to my memories of it.
