i recently was quite surprised, when i examined my diskspace. It kinda vanished for no reason. I asked a friend of mine, who has an user account on my pb, IF he has any sort of explanation. He told me: "well perhaps some huge ps files, i dunno"
I screamed: WHAT?

Question: Is there a possibility to limit ones user account to a particular amount of free disk space. For example: this user has 5 gig hd space available, if he goes beyond, well, ... what a pity.

hints appreciated

Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.

this may be of use. what you are asking about is generally called "disk quotas" (or atleast, that's what i've seen it called).
