They fixed the "no mountian dew" gripe... I'm betting there won't be a supply problem this year either. :smokey:

Edit: iTunes Promo link (not up yet)...

Supply shouldn't be an issue as the bottles are in circulation. I mean it took over a month for the bottles to hit NYC last year so the fact that they are already out is a good sign.

MacMinute also mentions that the game pieces will be on a lot more products this time around.

Last time it was only Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, and Sierra Mist.

can't redeem anything until the 31st... so just stock up...

and 7/11 is 24hrs... why not now?

but it does seem like the "big gulp" cups will be available for the promotion as well...

This is going to be insane, especially since (pretty much) everyone has an iPod now compared with last year, there are 2x as many songs to give away, more kinds of pepsi, and the iPod minis every hour. I can see myself going through trashcans looking for unused caps again... Too bad all the vending machines at my school have Coke.

kmarple,
I am the same way - serious diet (vanilla, lime, cherry) coke lover, but Pepsi earns my business whenever they do these iTunes promotions (I got over 100 winning codes last year using the tilt method - I know - still A LOT of soda).

Cheers,

I doubt Pepsi has any intention of "fixing" the problem—people who want free songs will tilt and cheat, people who don't care won't. Either way, Pepsi makes money.

So what is this year's Super Bowl song? Nad will they have a Mac mini or iMac G5 in the commercial?

Well...in order to fix the problem, they'd have to fill up the bottles with more liquid. It's a win-win situation for us. Either we get more drink for the same $, or we get to tilt to win.
