I'm having issues getting my Powerbook G4 (10.5.2) to restart. This is especially problematic when I'm trying to update my software. Typically if I click "restart" some or all of my programs will close—Mail is especially stubborn. But, even if I get them all to close, the computer gets stuck in a limbo state halfway logged out. My desktop background is visible but everything else is gone.
What's up? Thanks. |

iIve suffered this a few times as well. Not sure what the issue is but it seems to correct itself (for me) if I do a "repair disk permissions" occasionally.
