I occasionally loose my .Mac email account for say 5 or so minutes but today mine has been down for nearly 2 horus.
Anyone experiencing the same problem? |

Yes - I just bumped an old thread with the same report.
2 of my clients are reporting the same thing as well. And, I got a failure message from my .mac Sync an hour or so ago, also. |

BTW--I just got my second phone call from two different people that sent me emails while .Mac was down and I have not yet received either of them.
Something is not right. . .usually mail services have a back up storage system to catch emails so that they do not bounce or get "lost". Now that I got a job, I can buy more Apple products! |

I've had .Mac-based troubles the past few hours, but for the past 15 minutes or so everything seems to be working again for me (Mail.app, .Mac web-based mail and my e-mail on my iPhone). I'm sending and receiving as always, all three methods.
Seems they're getting it all back up and running. Patience, young Skywalkers... |

Yeah, mine has been down since around noon even though I can get through on the .Mac homepage... odd.

Receiving is completely fine, but for the past 45 minutes or so, I've had random, intermittent "sending" errors. It'll hang, or it'll ask me for my password or I'll get a "cannot deliver" message, with the option to "try again later". It's happened about three times, however I've sent twice that number with no problem. So there are still some little gremlins and hiccups lurking about it seems, even as 8:00pm ET approaches...
I just sent a test e-mail to my Mom and it shot through on the first try (but 10 minutes ago I couldn't e-mail a buddy of mine, no matter how hard I tried). Not sure what's going on... At the .Mac status page, Mail is still shown with a yellow dot (while all the other services and features are green), so it's still not 100% dialed-in or fixed. |
