Ok well i placed the order for my powerbook through the educational online store on May 16th, it stated that the order would ship on or before May 19th. Now well its the 19th checked the website, and it just got bumped to the the 25th with no explination. Does this happen often? Drop $1700 on a damn computer you would think they would get it to you sooner than that right? All i did was upgrade the memory on it to 768MB. Anyone have any similar encounter with a purchase from apple? Or is this a sign that they are changing something minor in the powerbook, and want to make sure mine ships with this update?

Looks like a batery recall.
Powerbook battery recall Maybe thats why my computer was delayed. argggg. Well better of with a battery that won't catch fire. |
