I'm getting a white Nano soon. I want to use it as an organizer as well as for music but the cases make it bulky.

For those of you that have the nano would you say case or no case? and if I get the clear film would the black nano be cool? I like the black version better but the scratch factor has me detered some.

Thanks!

If you want me to tell you its cool, just get a portable CD player and I'll tell you its cool.

If you are asking whether it will not get scratched, look for something called The Invisible Shield and it should be fine, at least my friend's black video pod is pretty well protected.

Maciej: Does the invisible shield protect the back also? Is it basically like stuff you put on a PDA to protect the screeen (that stuff dings up pretty quick) or is it better quality? Does it cover the click wheel too?

Thanks!

I've got the Invisible Shield - it's in two pieces; the front, and the back/sides. It works really well!

Except be careful when you open the box when you first get it...

I dropped my invisible shield on the floor and couldn't find it!

The stuff holding helicopter blades together... thats all I gotta say..

Yeah it covers front and back, and its pretty durable. Def. worth the 20-some-odd-bucks it costs, especially if you get a the Edu. discount on the iPod, it will be basically buying the iPod at full price but getting a free case. If you know what I mean.
