From there, you can read about the contest to get XP booting on an Intel Mac. The pot is up to $3,100 now, and still going. Feel free to contribute money to get people working on this project, as some people have apparently killed their iMac trying. Google is your frenemy. That'd be sweet to turn on your comp and have the option of XP or OS X. Would Window viruses effect your computer tho? Will viruses effect OS X now that its on an intel chip?

The goal is to have the Mac act as a real Windows machine, booting into Windows. A Mac booting Windows is a Windows machine - viruses and all.

I hope this contest brings to light at least a complex recipe to achieve this goal, if no one-click solution is possible. Maybe a former Connectix engineer already has something brewing; or perhaps Insignia Solutions will finally make RealPC® perform true to its name. I know quite a few PC users who would buy one of the intel Macs, albeit for the wrong reason: an intel PC that could also boot MacOS X.
