I have 16 right picks so far here. In my other bracket, I have 17, including Western KY. And my worst misses in that one were LSU and Texas A & M, which I got right on my AppleNova bracket.

If I could somehow combine my brackets, I'd be nearly perfect!

E. Tennesse is only shooting 30% but has taken 12 more shots. Pitt must be giving up a lot of turnovers.

Bad FT shooting for both teams. Pitt is 6/10 and E. TN is only 6/14!

I don't know what rankings you're looking at. On my list they only broke the top 25 once, week 14.

Yeah, that's my bad. Regardless, they've been a respected team all year, and were never considered a bubble team. It's not a very surprising upset.

Teams like WV that shoot a lot of threes are particularly susceptible to upsets because if the long jumpers aren't falling (and they were 5/20 from 3) they're screwed

Who beat who earlier in the season means nothing in the tournament. While I am surprised they are getting worked right now, the fact that they beat UNC earlier on doesn't count anymore. Anything can happen in the dance as evidenced earlier by PITT going to the wire with ETSU. That's why I love late March and early April so very much.

Oh, I know. That's why I have FSU losing early.

Just kidding. I didn't get a chance to watch many games this season, so if I've seen the team play and play well, that's my only idea of how good they can be. I expect every team to bring their "A" game to the tourney. It doesn't always happen but that's how I make my picks.

I didn't get to see any FSU games this year. I feel I thoroughly underestimated them.
