i currently have a powerbook g4 titanium and i just recently bought a lcd monitor which came w/ the cables so that i can plug it to my powerbook - which i have.

but my question is, how do i make it work when the i close the lid on the powerbook? everytime i close the lid the screen goes off on the lcd.

any other suggestions are also very welcome in regards to this subject.

You also have to connect an external keyboard and mouse. Then it should work.

Does the same thing work if you are using a bluetooth keyboard, or does the keyboard have to be of the usb variety?

I use my PowerBook w/ a 23" HD Cine Display everyday with the PB's display closed. USB Wireless Mouse, Bluetooth Keyb. For the best ventilation, my PB is elevated up on an iCurve. All works like a champ.
