hey, can anyone recommend a mac/pc personal laser printer that can print dual sided?
Ethernet would be a plus but I can deal with usb2.

Thanks

Seems blasphemous to me, but I'm looking at the Brother 2070N which fits that bill and sells for <$200. Of course, you were looking back in Feb. 2005 and nobody had an answer for you... not sure if they'll have anything more to say now.

Especially considering he hasn't been back here since April.

hehehe, actually, I was looking for an inexpensive laser printer for my Mom and decided to check here to see what the chatter was on the topic. The rest is History, especially for JamesS.

So I bought her the HP 1020, only to discover that it doesn't have OS X drivers... you can download and run drivers for a later printer but I'm taking the joker back and getting her the Brother 2070N which is networkable and may in fact do duplex.

Serves me right for panicking on Christmas Eve.

JamesS, let this be an object lesson for you son.

Wherever you went.

I have a brother HL-5140. I use it heavily - I gt about 10 reams of paper per toner cartridge. I has NEVER given me the slightest bit of problems. Installing it was as simple as can be. It won't automatically dual side- but you can do it in two pases
