Is there a way to rearrange the pages in this great application? We love Pages but have not found a way to do this. Are we missing something or just dense?

There's no direct way, no. Now that we can delete Pages (sections), a Pages (section) Picker would be faboo.

Why would Apple forget this very basic feature??? Pages is still a great program though, the Word import is flawless so we were able to throw our Word 2000 PC version in the garbage.

Does Word even have this feature? I can't seem to find it. You speak as though every other word processor on the planet is able to do this.

Well, Pages is kinda a transitionary app, as I see it. Most word processors don't let you do the 'insert pages' trick, and it's slick. But once you do that, they're just traditional word processor 'sections'. *IF* you treat them as just discrete chunks, and never expand them past the ready boundaries, it's more like a page layout program.

They've kind of hit a strange sweet spot between the two types of apps. I suspect that we'll see a Page Picker (and rearranger) in 2.0.

Sorry Brad, I guess Pagestream has spoiled me, been using it and upgrading it for 14 years. The OS X version is not ready yet though. Still a cool program though, I will use Pages and it together.

Word is garbage by the way, you knew that though.
