I know this sounds stupid but how the the hell do I just export my DV footage into lossless video that I can import to DSP.

There are just so many damn export options I don't know which one to use. Quicktime? Quicktime conversion? Compressor? I know what these all do, I just don't know which one is the absolute best one (for lossless video).

Remember, I want to take it into DSP. Please help, Thanks!!!

By the way, I'm using FCP 5, I know the settings vary for different versions. I can post a screenshot.

to take it into DSP you need to get it converted to MPEG 2 or H.264 if you have DSP 4 (h.264 is for HD DVD), Export to mpeg 2 (or H.264) and take that straight into DSP.
