Hi, I have a 15" refurb Al Powerbook, Rev B i believe. The backlight option is there. The keyboard definitely has the little emblems on F8-F10, but the keyboard won't work. The computer doesn't even think it exists. I heard that installing the Java update can cause this to happen, and I didn't try the keyboard before I installed the update.
The keyboard isn't even in the Keyboard preferences. In other words, the check-box (adjust keyboard brightness) isn't there. Any thoughts? Last edited by squeed : 2005-11-06 at 10:46. Reason: Hit enter early |
