A question for all y'all who're married. Do you shower with your spouse?
Mostly I'm curious about married couples, but I suppose anyone in a long-term live-together relationship could chime in.

We usually shower together when schedules permit. Problem is our jobs have very different timing involved, so we can be heading off to work hours apart.

After swimming in the pool and such though we usually just shower together.

Unfortunately we don't have the time to shower together anymore (someone has to keep the toddler from destroying the place ), but I found it great showering with my spouse. That way I had someone to scrub down my back & vice versa.

Back when we had a big shower we used to shower together. Now that our showers only hold 1 person its not really practical or remotely comfortable.

Once in a great while. I'm a shower person and the SO is a bath person....and baths are gross.

So maybe not two people... but what about one beast with two backs?

On occasion... our shower isn't particularly accomodating. There was a fabulous shower in our suite at the resort we stayed at for our honeymoon... that one saw a lot more coupled showering than we manage at home.

Actually, you can see a picture of the resort shower here. Third row down, left column. Nice one.

We definitely agree!

It's Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Beautiful part of the world, and (relatively) unspoiled by the kind of tourism much of Mexico and the Carribean has suffered in the last 30 years. Pacific coast, on the mainland, not the Baja penninsula. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway without crossing too many time zones.

The specific resort is Hotel Villa Del Sol, a slightly ideosyncratic place, owned and run by a German ex-pat... we'll definitely go back some day.

We shower and bathe together whenever it works with our schedule. The downside is that we sometimes get sidetracked from starting our day.

A few years ago when Melbourne was running low on water reserves and they put water restrictions in place, one of the pollies seriously suggested that people should shower together to save water.

In reality I'm not sure it actually saves water. But it was a nice idea-one that the wife and I do when we can.

I enjoy the occasional shower with the occasional girl.

Effectively, it probably wastes some.
