I've just fallen heir to a Palm Tungsten E2 and am trying to set it up to synch with my PB. Mainly, i'd like to be able to take all my iCal data onto the Palm.

However, this seems to be easier said than done. Palm's own documentation on this is sketchy and iSync doesn't want to know about my Palm. The only connection I can get is using Hot synch manager on the Palm which seems only to synch data from the Palm and the Mac Palm desktop software.

Help please. Do i have to move all my ical data into the Palm mac desktop software and if so, how>?

You need to install the iSync Palm Conduit. You've already got HotSync installed, so all you need to do is install that and you should be set. HTH.

edit: you may also need to make sure in the Conduit Manager that you have "enable iSync" with device is checked.

If it's not red and showing substantial musculature, you're wearing it wrong.

Thanks, Torrifile. Synching went fine. This is quite a neat little device.

Another question if you don't mind. It seems to have Real Player on it yet the documentation suggests you need QT 6.5 and an expansion card to play videos. I have some sort of card in it but can you install QT on the device and if so where on earth on Apple's site is it?
