For all you Canadians who were waiting impatiently and patiently for itms Canada here is your chance. Songs cost the usual .99 cents.

Let the typical 'Country Gets An Apple Service And It's Not Perfect On Day One' complaining begin!

Well, I was going to complain about the lack of songs but I'd just look like an ass.

Instead, I'll just ask everyone to check my thread in AO and help me improve my taste in music.

They have Roch Voisine but no Mitsou!!! iTMS will fail without Mitsou! What the hell are you doing Apple!?!?!??!

CANadian CONtent regulations generally apply to broadcast airtime/media outlets/publishers...
but I don't think cancon limits apply to record stores or online vendors, per se.

IIRC, bookstore chain indigo.ca tried to go after Chapters claiming the American store shouldn't be allowed to play in Canada without similar rules... seems to me they lost the argument, but I don't know if it's actual precedent or was just thrown out.

LOL.. hehe....

addendum:

Better yet, the math skill demonstrated will be attached to the song chosen, putting together a demographic picture of math capacity vs. taste in music.

OMIGAWD! There is only 700000 songs! And half the books and videos the Americans have! OMIGAWD!

Nah. It's pretty kickass for the first day. If only I could convince my dad to buy me an audiobook....

I have not checked the site yet. Do they have Gordon Lightfoot? If not, it's not really Canadian.

I think its pretty kick ass. I bought two cds on my first visit and the cds are $9.99. You cant find that around too often. Now I just need a way to burn cds without the break between tracks and Ill be set.

Yeah, I just bought Black Day in July. Lightfoot kicks ass! Well, he kicks as much ass as a Canadian folk singer can.
