Hi,
Got Powerbook G4. Do .Mac e-mail accounts work from mainland China. I can't make mine work. When I bought this machine a year ago the seller told me that .Mac was a subscription only service, so I might as well stay with Hotmail. I believed him, but now I am trying to send photos for the first time from iPhoto, and I can't. Now I am suspicious that the seller knew this. Local authorities here block lots of things (including the BBC News for example) and I have had problems for days on end accessing Hotmail and AOL at different times. So do they block .Mac? The window just won't accept my password, which I have checked as being correct. Have tried everything I can in the help pages, including deactivating the account and reactivating it. My machine clearly tells me that I do have an account ... just can't access it. Thanks, Jon Bollom PS. Am computer idiot, so please no jargon. |
