I have a glitch messing with my dock. Any time I drag a folder to the dock for easy access I can't open it by clicking. When I click the folder it tries to archive it. I can right-click it and open documents and applications, but if I click a folder in the list it tries to archive it. The little open command at the bottom of the list does the same. Here is the Link to an apple discussion page where other users besides myself are running into the same problem.

I have repaired permissions, deleted the dock .plist, rebooted, etc. ...no go

I did make a new user and it was fixed under that account so I think it's either a corrupt .plist or an association gone haywire. Does anyone know what file holds all of the file associations? Or what I can do to reset them?
