I have gmail set for POP access, works no problem.
But I archived and deleted my downloaded mail and I want to re-download from gmail's server. Works fine with my Comcast account, but gmail just sits there like a bump on a log, only transmitting the latest messages... Any ideas? (Let's pretend I don't have access to my backup disc, for the sake of the argument). "Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding." - Albert Einstein |

Got it to work.
I had long ago set gmail to "Enable POP for all mail (even mail that's already been downloaded)" but I had to re-submit that setting via the web browser for it to work for some reason. Needed to do that for all my gmail accounts. "Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding." - Albert Einstein |
