Does anyone else have trouble playing a visual voicemail message? OK, here goes, press play. Put to ear, oh great its started playi- ...aaaand its paused. OK, take phone from ear, press play again, OK here goes...and its paused again. OK, must be something to do with the proximity sensor pausing it....lets just play a voicemail on speaker phone so everyone can hear it.

This is the third iPhone i've had where it just plain doesn't work properly.

That's aside from the general UI suckiness of the crappy little buttons you have to press with your finger nail. Not to mention how the design really doesn't feel like it conforms to the rest of the iOS world.

Otherwise, its fine. Would buy again.

It's all based on your carrier loading the message.

As much as I hate to admit it, I use Google Voice for my voicemail. I've never used the iPhone's voicemail options.

I use Visual Voicemail and the main problem that I've encountered has to do with the screen and buttons being laggy. My phone is old and crufty though, so...

The bugginess has nothing to do with your phone.

I have a 12 Pro and visual voicemail is super buggy and slow. Button presses take forever to register and it never actually plays when you want it to.

Voicemail is awful and the only people who still call me are my 70+ year old people that I work with.

A friend and I leave each other improv calls from all sorts of crazy people. It's fun!!
