...well not a deluge exactly but Garmin now have 3 pieces of Mac compatible software for your Garmin GPS units:
POI Loader (Beta) - Let's you add your own custom POI's to most GPS units as well as new voices etc. for the Nuvi units. Garmin Webupdater (Beta) - At last, firmware updates can be applied to your unit from within OSX.... Garmin Training Centre - Software for for planning training routes and workouts on your Edge 205, 305 & Forerunner units (this has been available for a while now). Personally I'm glad Garmin are finally realeasing Mac compatible software as I've always loved the quality of their units but have been really annoyed at not being able to keep the firmware up to date! ...They just need to make Mapsource Mac compatible and I will be a happy bunny ....Apologies if this is old news but I thought it worth posting |

Good news. TomTom have had Mac support for years, so this is long overdue.

Thanks for the info Gizzer. I agree that this is long overdue, and hope they put out a Mapsource for Mac as a next step.
