Hit there,
I'm searching an application that could help me track what do I do in my day. On the PC side, my friends are using a little app that pop-up a little screen every 30/60min and ask what your are doin. At the end of the day, you can calculate how much time you spend on differente project/aspect. Is there any way that I could do this without using a sheet and a pencil. Thx guys. Surely someone could simply write an app that monitors what apps are active and create a profile log. That is a much more Apple approach. I can't see if Officetime does that or not, but I hope so. For the monitoring apps, my friend (A Mac friend) is using an app that do exactly what you describe. At the end of the day, he can see how much time he used what application. Not sure if it work with focused app... I guess. I don't remember the name though. I'll tell monday when I'll see him. Sounds like slife or something... Edit: Wow, I nailed it ! I may give that a bash on Monday and then really see how much time I spend surfing vs coding! I'll probably be really disappointed in myself! Just realised that you can manage "projects" with slife and the "activities"... I think I'll still use the OfficeTime but slife is a nice little free solution. Well it's kinda hard to compare both as they are pretty different but you know...

You can put some limit on applications (maybe even on specific web site I think). So you could set yourselft a limit of X minutes of surfing a day.
