I'm new to this mac business, but I have a 17" powerbook on the way and have just realized that there is no way it will fit in my current laptop case. I'm looking for either a fairly light briefcase type bag with a should strap, or a nice roomy/protective backpack that can hold the pb and a few books. Any suggestions? I am a college student and need something that will keep my computer from being damaged as I bike around campus and go to class, and I especially like the backpack idea because I wouldn't have to carry around multiple bags.
Thanks in advance |

Numerous threads have been posted here on the topic. I forgot this myself a few weeks back and posted a topic about it too. I purchased a Waterfield case:
http://www.sfbags.com Definitely the ones I would recommend the most. By far. It is expensive, but the quality is unmatched, including by Booq. Hope that helps. |

Yup, I just did a search using the terms 'laptop, powerbook, case, bag' and found a bunch of options.
My laptop bag (for a 15" pb) is made by Tom Bihn and I love it. Tom Bihn also sells bags made by Trager. Both brands have bags specifically sized for 17" PowerBooks.
