Could it be that Steve envisioned his departure from Apple around 7 or 8 years ago or whenever he started wearing the "black turtleneck shirt+jeans+NB sneakers"?
I mean, he's the face of Apple, right, but I guess it will be easier and less damaging for the company now because whenever he leaves, we'll already be familiar with this army of "steve jobs". All they'll have to do is replace the person inside the costume.
