I've got some videos up on the YouTube, and I just realized that a bunch of them are in lousy normal quality (with no HQ option), and I want to pump them up to High Quality, or even HD! Is there a way to update my existing videos to have HQ or HD versions of them (i.e. so I keep my play count)? I can't seem to find such an option on YouTube, and I despair that I may have to start from scratch with the higher quality versions.

On another note, does the new iMovie do uploading to YouTube in HD? iMovie 08 only seems to do it in HQ...

Thanks!

Nope. You have to create new videos and you cannot carry over the play counts.

You could update the info panel in both to refer to the other url for ease of discovery, though.

My plan exactly! I'm going to try several clever means of redirection to see what works best...
