Is it just me, or is Address Book no longer automatically completing names, titles, company names, etc., in Tiger? (And if it's not just me, why would Apple take that feature away?)

I find its not consistant. At one moment it does not fill a form and the next opportunity it does. I have no ide why but assumed it might be because the web site in question does not have fields that correspond to the rules Apple uses to negotiate through the fields on the form.

Most often, if I begin to type my name, it fills the rest in.

Actually, I was talking about auto-filling *within* Address Book itself. In 10.3.9, if I created a new card for someone with the same name, title and/or company as another existing card, AB would auto-fill the rest as soon as I started typing. This was very useful, and now it appears to be gone. (E.g., if I already had a contact whose title was Executive Vice President, all I had to do was type "Ex" and the rest would pop up.)

This thread prob should have been in Genius Bar but posting as a follow-up to see if anyone can confirm that this feature (as detailed in immediate-prior post above) has been elminated or if it's just not working for me. Not a huge deal, but it seems odd a useful feature would be eliminated. I have a lot of contacts at the same companies and with similar titles; auto-fill was very useful when creating new contacts but now each one has to be typed out in full.
