I posted something about the "Buy a Mac Get a iPod Nano Free" deal and said that it goes against the September 5th release because that deal ends on 9/16. So here is the other side, something that supports it.
I get the newspaper every Sunday, and every Sunday I read those magazine looking things that Best Buy and Circuit City puts out in the paper. Every time I looked through those I saw at least one ad in them for an iPod. And now, 4 days before the speculated release, I see none. There was not one ad in the Best Buy magazine for an iPod. In the Circuit City magazine all they had was a really small box that said "Authorized Reseller" and it had the apple logo and a very small picture of the current iPod line up. This just made me think just like the buy a mac get a free iPod Nano deal. PS-I don't know if this is a double post, i pressed the submit new thread button and it didn't work so i pressed it again. If it is just delete one of them. Last edited by AlexRADL : 2007-09-02 at 09:48. Reason: mispelling |

I've noticed this too. This always happens the week new iPods are introduced. Best Buy, Circuit City, et al don't want to be caught advertising the old models, I guess.
and i guess i've known it all along / the truth is, you have to be soft to be strong |

Indeed, having the old models and prices in this weeks ad would be just silly.
It was just funny seeing no iPods, but reminding people they do sell iPod this week...*wink wink* Jebus Google, just buy Apple already... |

Bonus: AT&T ads with the newly priced iPhone. Jebus Google, just buy Apple already... |
