This is a site I made in a few minutes to sell my powerbook http://web.mac.com/andrewproudlove/iweb
Its basically just one of the default templates though so not as nice as some of the other sites Ive seen in this thread - Im not really into HTML but I have to admit that you guys have inspired me to try playing around with iweb some more. |

Thats an interesting market your into Ryan, I never would've thought about highway memorials. I like the simplicity of the site, but one thing you way look at changing is the text that appears in the "yellow dialog box" that appears when you hover over a picture. Right now it is a messy URL, maybe you could simplify it down to "Option A" ? Other than that it looks fine.

Seeing all the great work that everyone has been able to put together finally convinced me to go out and get a copy of iLife 06. I can't say how happy I am with iWeb. I had a website before, but I never updated it because it was such a hassle to figure out all the code. iWeb is a sheer joy to work with compared to the old system I had to use.
Anyway, here is my site: johnferraro.org. It's still pretty basic, kind of utilitarian, but what you see is the product of only a few days tinkering. I know the "welcome to..." on the front page is messed up. I've got to figure out why that's acting up... One thing I was hoping someone could help me with, however, is how to set up seperate photo albums. As it is now, I have all my photos on the same page. I have seen several people in this very thread that have multiple albums set up, and if you could provide any advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

John,
Just create separate pages for each set of photos using the Photo page template - you can have as many photo pages on your site as you want. Then drag any pictures from the iPhoto section of the media browser onto the picture placeholder on the photo page. If you have a few photo pages you'll probably then want to create a separate photo index page. Create a blank page to use as your photo index. On this page, create links to each individual photo page by dragging a relevant picture from the media browser. Click the picture and set the 'enable as hyperlink' in the Link tab of the inspector and choose the relevant photo page in the drop-down list of your pages. If you create a photo index page, you probably won't want the individual photo pages shown in the iWeb navigation menu - just un-check the "Include page in navigation menu" option on the Page tab of the inspector. You can see how I did it with my Holidays and Photos pages at http://www.dai-towell.net That's it! Hope that helps. |

I just gave my site a much needed overhaul. Created using iWeb, iWeb Enhancer, Seashore, Lineform, & lightbox.
HungrySeacow Software Click on the pictures in the lower half. lightbox was very easy to implement and works great! |

I just discovered this thread... and I'm loving it!
Confession: I..., I have no website..., no home page. Nothing. Does this mean that I do not exist? Even worse, I've got iWeb and .Mac. I suck. "We do not see things as they are, we see them as we are." Anais Nin |
