Hi all
Ive got a macbook and for a while an auto update note has been appearing at startup. This is linked to a superdrive update from apple but the popup keeps saying the update is not required. Any idea how i get rid of this - I assume its in the library somewhere? |

Just select the update and hit delete.
It will mark that update as 'ignored.' You can also do it through the Update menu. And you can reset your ignored updates under the Application menu. |

Question: Why not just apply the update?
I know ti says it's not required, but they must have released it for a reason. |

Well the update autoruns at startup but then says 'update not required' and stops. I assume the update is for a different model or make of superdrive (i think i heard they had more than one manufacturer or model for different Macs)
