Why is he there? But then again, why is Steve Wynn? It's interesting to note that there are no premieres from any country (maybe this is a US only poll), most noticably though, Bush! EDIT - Ok.. Just read that they are putting a different category each week. Wow, Jobs is killing everyone! The Google guys are second, but even they're a good ways behind.
Cool. |

Sure Steve is ahead, but doesn't this happen every time there's an online poll, and even just one Mac site links to it? If only the Mac web could rig some real elections...

I voted for Judy McGrath because she works for a company that puts videos of people basically having sex to music onto my TV screen and I kind of like that in a person plus now she's up to 1% can you say UPSET??

It's between Jobs, the Google founders and the Myspace founders for my vote. I personally can't stand Myspace, but between its 60,000,000+ members and the insanity it causes in high school, influential is definitely a word that could describe them. Perhaps it's more easily ignorable outside of high school, but I got so tired of explaining *why* I don't have a Myspace account that I gave in and signed up, even though I don't use it.

Why does the snapshot of Jobs show him with white curly hair?

Jay-Z may not be having the year Steve Jobs is having, but he is and has done some amazing things.
He is: head of a record company founder of a label, a clothing company (of which he recently bought out his partner to make way for growth) building out an upscale global club chain importing vodka part owner of an NBA team (which he is working to relocate to Brooklyn as the centerpiece of a real estate deal that is massive) Don't get me wrong, Steve Jobs has the bigger empire, and is having the better year. I still think the man should get some respect. I voted for Bill Ford. I love the fact that he is trying to save his company by giving the market a sexier product. Will it work, well I hope so, as do some people in Detroit. |

To be honest IMHO Jay-Z is just like Puff Daddy (stupid name)..
All this cashing in on their so called celebrity with perfumes, and clothes and all that crap... It's saddening and I feel sorry fot the people that feel buying clothing with their names on is necesary.. Their entire empire is built on selling crap to gullable idiots. At least Steve Wynn and Steve Jobs and Bill Ford, whilst all being 'salesmen', actually give a damn about the product they sell, and maintain some consistency in their chosen product line / careers. Personally, I'm not too impressed by the Wynn (the new hotel/casino, not the person who built it). Some have said likened it to a "Bellagio 1.5" - but I prefer the Bellagio.
I think selling the Bellagio - and then attempting to catch lightning in a bottle twice with the Wynn - was a mistake. and i guess i've known it all along / the truth is, you have to be soft to be strong |
