I know there's tools out there to handle multiple libraries, but that's not quite what I want. My situation is that I have an MBP with an internal drive of 100 GB, and an external FireWire-attached drive of 300 GB. So, obviously, I have some space contraints while on the go. As such, I'd like to have the following: put the complete iTunes and iPhoto libraries on the external drive, but keep a subset on the internal one. That subset could be based on a smart playlist / smart album, with criteria like "recently or frequently accessed".
Any ideas about this? |
