Does anyone think that the iPhone will run Google Gears (http://gears.google.com/). It seems a good fit for the AJAX "API" that was mentioned the keynote.

It was said (can anyone confirm) that Safari for Windows also installs SQLite? Why you ask? Well the database Google Gears happens to utilize is..... You guessed it.... Now, it not exactly a smoking gun with fingerprints but it's still pretty interesting evidence none the less. After all, for what other reason would they include SQLite with Safari? Dave |
